Our clinic operates on the unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe peoples. We recognize Algonquin people as the customary keepers and defenders of the Ottawa River Watershed and its tributaries. We acknowledge the enduring presence, knowledge, and philosophies of many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples living in the Ottawa region today. As a speech therapy clinic, we also want to acknowledge the beauty of Indigenous languages and the value and importance they have held throughout history and continue to hold today.
