Maria is the first point of contact for our team and clients. She is passionate about helping people by ensuring client satisfaction and team cohesion. At Andalusia Speech, Maria spends her time providing administrative and HR support, improving HR policies and employee advocacy, all while working remotely from Hamilton! Maria enjoys spending time with her family on the weekends and baking.

Anna is evidence-driven in her clinical practice and holds both a research Master's of Science and a clinical Master's of Health Science in Speech Language Pathology. With several publications under her belt in the field, she continuously brings our team back to the important question: "But does the research support this?!" And that is why we want her on our side - science with enthusiasm, the most compelling combination in a clinician!

Originally from the Niagara region, Mikyla has adopted Toronto as her new home. As a conscientious individual, Mikyla is very thorough in her approach to speech therapy and wants to bring the best practices and resources available to all of her clients, so when she isn't directly with a client, she is often prepping for them! Mikyla is active in her church and music activities and loves to travel when she is not working at the clinic.

Celine has experience working with adults and children in a variety of settings such as pre-school community centres, hospitals, and children’s treatment centres. As a clinician, Celine strives to empower her clients and their families through providing resources and creating meaningful and individualized therapy that is motivating to participate in.

Grace has over 10 years of experience working directly with children in both a hospital and community setting. Originally from the United States, she (and her dog) are happy to have found a new home here in Toronto.

As a Palestinian, born in Lebanon, and raised in Canada, Batoul emphasizes the importance of providing culturally competent and client-centred therapy. Her previous experience includes working with both children and adults in a variety of settings including preschool initiatives, camp programs, hospitals, and a rehabilitation centre. Batoul is passionate about providing each and every client evidence-based and personalized therapy to achieve a magnitude of communication needs.

Jasmine has experience working with a wide age range of clients from diverse backgrounds. Her previous experience includes working with children in after-school literacy programs as well as adults with aphasia and other acquired communication disorders. She strongly believes in the importance of cultural competency within the communication sciences and provides client-centered care. When she’s not at work Jasmine enjoys reading and writing as well exploring new restaurants in her city!

Jordan was born and raised in Mississauga. Jordan has an advanced diploma in Behavioural Science and is currently acquiring her post-graduate certificate as a Communicative Disorders Assistant. Over the last two years, Jordan has been working as an Educational Assistant, working with students who have a wide variety of needs/ behaviours. Jordan is committed to providing a safe/ inclusive space while helping clients achieve their communication goals. In Jordan's free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and playing with her cat.

Myles brings a diverse background of culture to his practice as a Toronto native of immigrant parents from two different countries, and strives to integrate, support, and validate the cultural diversity of all clients and families he works with. As a clinician, he has experience working with children in settings such as school boards and private practices, as well as with adults in hospitals. When not working, you can find Myles in the Voice and Resonance Laboratory at the University of Toronto where he is completing his PhD, or participating in various activities with and at his church.

Carly graduated from the Communicative Disorders Assistant program at Durham College in 2017 and has been working as a CDA in the Waterloo Region ever since. While most of her time has been spent working in elementary schools, she also has experience supporting adults in a hospital setting. Carly strives to create a welcoming environment where individuals feel comfortable and confident working towards their communication goals. In her spare time Carly enjoys visiting with friends and family, reading and curling.

Barbara was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and moved to Canada at the age of 15. She lived in Montreal for the following 9 years, where she earned her B.A. in Linguistics and Psychology at McGill University. She has experience working with language, articulation, voice and cognitive communication disorders, as well as dysphagia and autism.
